The MACA Ride to Conquer Cancer is an epic two-day, 200 km cycling event on 21 and 22 October, 2017. Since 2012, The Ride has raised over $23.5 million for cancer research at Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, Western Australia’s premier adult medical research institute.
The MACA Ride to Conquer Cancer is a fully supported, five-star cycling event with fully stocked pit stops along the route and an overnight camp in Mandurah, where participants enjoy a hot shower, dinner, entertainment and a massage. The Ride welcomes participants of all ages 16+ and all abilities to challenge themselves for a great cause – all you need is motivation, a bike and a helmet!
Sue Kingsley is a five-time Ride participant. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, Sue made a promise to herself to Ride every year she is able. In 2013, Sue was told the cancer was metastatic but that hasn’t stopped her. Sue rode in the 2016 Ride while undergoing chemo and continues to be a Ride champion and inspiration to all.
2017 is the 6th annual MACA Ride to Conquer Cancer. Join Sue and thousands of others – register today at www.conquercancer.org.au or call 1300 99 RIDE (7433).
